Sorry I have not posted for a bit....
The husband and I are still in the middle of moving, with life happening around us at top speed. If you would like to see our Walmart wish list(filled with everyday and decorative items), you can find it:

And before anyone says ewww Walmart. It is the biggest shopping spot where we are in NorthEast Oklahoma.
Back in late June of this year, I got diagnosed with breast cancer. So we have been making the rounds with all the necessary dr's to get things squared away on that front while trying to keep my businesses afloat, etc.... We just got the surgery date for the lumpectomy and mass removal( it will be in September).
I also started a PoshMark account, and have a Posh Closet in my home of things I have listed. Stop by my closet, and check it out, things will be added as I go along. Remember, likes are great, purchases a wonderful. Anything I earn will be going towards my household and their well being.
Outside of this hellacious heat(Satan's Bootcamp, we call it here, depending who you ask), it has been quite a wild ride this year.
I do have a question though, for those who are Pampered Chef fans(see pic below);
I would be on the sidelines to answer questions, and to do recipe spelunking for you.
I am really wanting to have a successful August, and that would include you guys and gals(Just know like my Posh Closet, any commission I earn will be going toward my household and their care).

Salt & Lime Social is the place to be in Tulsa!
This evening I had the chance to try a new restaurant to me with some friends. Salt & Lime Social is located at 1121 S Elgin Ave in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This was a great way to kick off the unofficial start to summer, with what I call a Taco Tuesday Night Out in my household. This establishment is next to a small dog park, where while you wait for your order, you can bring your fur baby of the canine family to come and run around.
While I was hanging out with my extended family, I had a chance to snap a few pictures, look at the menu, and make up my mind as to what I wanted to try. My first items to try were the skinny margarita with a strawberry basil simple syrup inclusion and corn fritters with a sweet and spicy glaze.
Both of the pictured were delicious, bursting with flavor. I have had margaritas and fritters in other places, but as of right now, this is the top in my book.
As I sat and socialized and caught up with people I had the chance to try the masa fried pickles with the salt & lime ranch dip.YUM!
These pickles had the crunch of a fried green bean, but when combined with the dip, it was perfect.
As the get together drew to a close, I went ahead and placed my to go order to take back home for lunch the next day.
I ordered the Okie Smokie Queso and chips, the Pineapple chipotle lime bbq wings(6 pieces), and a non-alcoholic version of the margarita previously mentioned.
I will definitely be adding this to my munchies list, for when I am up T-town way on a Taco Tuesday Night.
Thank you to the staff for being so nice. It made for a great experience for the evening.

I don't brag that often, but when I do...I share.
There is a person in my household's life that has been on a journey with us, since she helped to sell my mother's home here in Muskogee, before the end of 2022.
She is not only our realtor, but my husband and I have the pleasure of calling her our friend.
I guarantee you, she is one of the hardest working gals I have come to have the pleasure to know. The real estate company she has the pleasure to represent is Century 21 Wright Real Estate, in Tahlequah,Oklahoma.(about a 30 minute drive from Muskogee).
Her name is Sidni Shockley, and if you are looking for one pistol and award winning(she was recently blessed with 3 awards recently: The Centurion Producer, the Multi-Million Dollar Producer, and she is a Top 10 Agent for Oklahoma in Units.) realtor, she is definitely it.
Buying or selling a home she will get it done!
Before the end of 2022 Mrs. Shockley helped us to get my late mother's house sold.
After my husband and I got the property cleaned out and then cleaned up, the realtor we had at that point recommended her.(Thanks for the recommendation Justin)

This year's super bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles was a real nail biter down to the end. These gentlemen have worked hard for this! Congratulations to the Chiefs on their Fabulous Win! Well deserved gentlemen! On to next year, let's do this again!

I know I have not posted in a while, but life happens.....
Leave it to say it has been one heck of a start to 2023.... At the end of 2021 we lost my mother, at the end of 2022 my father in law. Now we are waiting for the great thaw to happen from this last round of weather that rolled through. I am so ready for the dumpster fire decade to get done with. I am ready for some cheerful things to happen. On the upside of things, I have gotten back to the Kaffeine Kitty post, so stay tuned for those. Also, I am trying Oats Overnight to see about a breakfast on the go works for me, so stay tuned for that as well. I have some goals I am working on for my at home ventures as well. I hope you have a blessed 2023, and may it be crap free as well.
